Bourjois Colour Boost Lip Crayon in Fuchsia Libre and Peach on a beach

Hey Lovelies, today i'll be reviewing the bourjois Colour boost Lip Crayons in Peach on a beach and Fuchsia Libre so let's have a look shall we ;)

Just like the Clinique chubby sticks, the lip crayons come housed in a plastic twist up tube which matches the colour of the lip product, These smell mildly like cherry sweeties which might be offensive to some people , but i really do enjoy it....it does fade away after about half an hour so don't let the scent stop you from trying these babies. Bourjois claims that these allow for 10 hours of wear and are waterproof. The added bonus is that these have an SPF of 15 making them great for day time usage... trust me, sun burnt lips are not fun x[.

After testing them out for a couple of weeks, I find these really awesome, they are nicely pigmented but still moisturizing and leave a glossy finish on the lips. They kinda remind me of the revlon lip butters. They are definitely not made to last 10 hours and are not waterproof as bourjois claim they are but I still really like this product and will repurchase when i run out.

Peach on a beach

As the Name suggests, Peach on a Beach is a very pretty light peachy pink colour that can really brighten up your complexion when you apply these on your lips. I found that it settled in the liplines a little but it's still a stunning colour which I really enjoy.I can get about 4 hours of wear before i have to reapply the product.

Swatch of Peach on a Beach under natural light.

Fuchsia Libre

Fuchsia Libre is cool based hot pink / berry colour that is very flattering on my skintone and I found that i could get away with five to six hours of wear without having to reapply the product.. The great part about this particular colour is that it leaves a nice stain on the lips after the product has worn away.

Too Cool For School Pudding Aqua Shaking BB in No.2

Sighh...I had so much high hopes for this product, it has an SPF of 40 and when I tested the product on my hand , it matched my skintone so well and seemed blendable...plus the packaging looked really cute xP. This came with a sponge as well...which i have to say...was complete crapadoodles.

The actual product reminds me of the Revlon colourstay whipped foundation that every beauty blogger seems to love. Unfortunately, it doesn't apply or last as long as the Revlon one, I FRIGGIN HATE THIS SHIZZ.... not only was it a nightmare to blend, it kinda turned patchy and a weird white when I accidentally got water splashed on my face or perspired a little too much.

The scent of this BB cream is pleasant enough, slightly floral but not overwhelming, anyway it fades as the day goes by. The coverage is sheer but buildable (if you can blend it in). The colour looked promising but instead of readjusting to my skintone, it turned an ashy colour on my skin :S

I've never had much luck with BB creams but I really did try to like this product. I tried blending it in my foundation brush, i used the weird retarded sponge thing it came with and I even tried applying it with my fingers...Nothing really worked because it was just so0o0o0 difficult to blend seamlessly.

The BB cream is housed in a glass tub with a plastic screw on lid.

Left: Blended out (don't be fooled...it took absolutely ages to blend this in
Right, Heavily swatched

Bottomline,
Would i repurchase??......

N friggin O

Everybody's skin reacts differently to different products so please don't be offended if it happens to be your favorite thing in the world =).

Bourjois Rose Exclusif lip gloss

Bourjois claims that this lipgloss changes colour to suit the wearer depending on their natural skin's pH level.
The product applies clear but changes to pink after you allow it some time to readjust and transform to suit your sin tone.

It's a pretty good lipgloss, nothing phenomenal. colour payoff is weak and it also has a very strong sickly sweet "Grandma's rose perfume' scent to it which I do not care for. The scent doesn't just go away after initial application...it lingers on and on and I find it to be quite distracting...>___<

The product itself is quite good, it makes your lips look really plump and healthy. A little gloopy for my liking but still bearable. I don't reach for it as often as i should mainly because of the scent and the fact that it doesn't really have any colour payoff. The brush tip is quite small so it makes application a breeze ;).

Comes in a plastic tube with a brush tip applicator

Swatched in natural light,
applies clear but changes colour after a few minutes
depending on your skins pH levels

On my skin, it turns a slight rosey pink
...not a very noticeable change :S

Essence 'stay with me' longlasting lipgloss in 'My Favorite Milkshake'

The Essence 'stay with me' longlasting lipgloss in 'My Favorite Milkshake' is a sheer baby pink colour. It was super cheap in priceline so I thought I'd give it a shot...it smells nice enough ( sweet and creamy),
Can't say it's super long lasting or comfortable on my lips though. It applies quite gloopy and streaky. settles in my liplines as well. It comes with a doefoot applicator that has a dip in the middle section to help with even application on the lips. Doesn't work well in my opinion because the middle section tends to grab too much product and the round tip makes it difficult to be precise.

VERDICT: It's not bad but not one I would normally reach out for or repurchase again.
The lipgloss comes with a doefoot applicator that has a slight hourglass shape.
It is meant to hug your lip and apply the lipgloss evenly.

Lipgloss heavily swatched in natural light.
sheer baby pink colour.

Soap & Glory matte lipstick in Pom Pom

I FRIGGIN LOVE THIS LIPSTICK!!

Soap and Glory have done it again =D. This lipstick is phenomenal. It's creamy, pigmented, doesn't settle in my liplines and lasts for hours and hours. It applies smoothly and isn't patchy like some matte lipstick formulas...Annnnndddd....it smells super yummy like candy ;).

The Lipstick in Pom Pom is a deep berry colour which is perfect for fall. it would be flattering on different skintones and is seriously one of the best lipsticks I've used in awhile....definitely a must have in my opinion =)

The packaging is a sleek matte black plastic with a
glossy watermark of the soap & glory logo on the front

S&G lipstick, lightly swatched in natural light.
It is beautiful deep berry colour on the lips.

I Can't Wait to Try Out More of These.....
DEFINITELY ON MY REPURCHASE LIST!!

Barry M Lipstick in 147

The Barry M Lipstick in no. 147 is a peachy coral with a hint of pink. It is a matte colour so the formula is a little bit drying on my sensitive lips but a touch of my lush honeytrap lip balm always fixes that problem =).
I swatched this on my hand in boots and I LOVED it.... it's unscented, pigmented and creamy.
On the lips however, the Barry M lipstick tends to settle in lines and is a little patchy because it is a matte formula. I find that the best way of applying this is to dab it on instead of just slathering it on your lips. It is very affordable and is a very pretty colour but not one of my favorites mainly because of the formula. I much prefer Soap & Glory for matte lippies =)

The packaging is matte black. very nice and sleek with the 'Barry M' Logo on the top.

Review: Dr Jart+ Every Sun Day Perfect Sun Block SPF 50+ / PA+++

After hunting around for a new sunscreen, I came across this Dr Jart+ one in SaSa. The salesgirl recommended this after I mentioned to her that I didn't want anything overly sticky or heavy because my skin tends to get quite shiny as the day goes by. As an added bonus, the Dr Jart+ sun Block also came with a travel sized version of their Water-Sure Gel moisturizer. It is oil free and supposed to provide maximum hydration without being too sticky or heavy.

The sunscreen works well enough, it's still a touch too sticky for my liking but my main problem with the sunscreen is the scent.... this smells like a grandma that's just had her hair done...flowery sweet with a touch of baby powder...not my thing at all =/

The moisturizer is quite nice. I comes out as a gel but feels like water when you rub it on your skin. It smells very fresh and gets absorbed into the skin very quickly. I will probably repurchase the moisturizer when i run out =).

I hope this was helpful ;)
